summer programs for HS students

I noticed in the ED-decision string that several people participated in some sort of work/program with Princeton (Princeton in China was one I saw a few times). Can anyone give me more information or a link to this? This is my dream school and I'd really like to have any advantage I can get over the other applicants!

Thanks in advance.

Say no more, for your own sake....!

I'm sorry, I definetly didn't mean it like that...I just realized how it sounds. It's just that I really don't have a "hook" and am looking for one; plus, I'm hoping some time spent over the summer with the school will either really commit me to Princeton or make me realize that pehaps it's not for me.

Participating a mediocre college summer camp at Princeton certainly IS NOT A HOOK.

Trust me. I attended the JSA Summer school at Princeton last year, and there were like 350 kids plus at least 2000+ kids from other summer programs held on Princeton campus. Besides, these programs are really really costly, and colleges know that only well-off families could afford to do so.

If you are looking for a hook, I advise you to do something that's TRULY unique, one of a kind, something that suddenly erupted from your passion (you know what I mean). Although if you do have the luxury to pay a short visit to Princeton, that'd be another way to give you a visual insight about the place. Don't go there during the summer (BOILING TEMPERATURE), since the campus'll be so empty that the only people you'd find are a bunch of highschoolers attending some funky summer camp. Visit during school time so you'd get to see the studends, feel the intellectual atmoshpere, and individually meet the professors and students if you are lucky.
