<p>I HATE SUMMER WORK. I spent seven weeks away this summer and kept perfectly busy. Naturally motivated people will read/learn during the summer anyway, and lazy people (the ones who procrastinate their projects till the night before and end up learning nothing from it anyway) will have a perfectly healthy, if not academically stimulating, summer. Our parents had lazy summers spent at the pool and ill-paying first jobs and they turned out just fine. Not like I’m bitter or anything, but I just want to go up to my teachers and dump all of their projects/books on a table next to the piles of short stories, novels, and poems I read at camp, and then the stories and poems I wrote at camp on top of that. BLARRRRG.</p>

<p>I’ve already read 2 books, and have done 1.5 essays, and some Macro and Calc work. I have to read 1 book, do 1.5 essays, some more calc, and write a Spanish essay. </p>
<p>I tend to procrastinate slightly.</p>
<p>Just finished the first 13 pages of a 333 paged book</p>
<p>EDIT: I realized I have 3 more weeks of summer break left. Comes to show how out of touch I am w/ reality and time. <em>sighs</em> mental senescence</p>
<p>Wrapping up my essay with 90 min to go and drop off at school. I’m feelin good! :D</p>

<p>We don’t have to read anything for English this summer for some reason. But, I still haven’t finished my AP US Gov & Politics summer assignment. We have to write a 200 word response to an essay in each chapter in the Lanahan Readings in the American Polity. I’ve only done two, and there is 17 lol</p>
