I live in CA and just received it today without any special Duke embroidering, mind you.

sorry, I meant FAC not TA

i am an international and i still didn't receive my copy :( anyone else in my shoes?

I dunno. I BSed my way through Crime and Punishment and Portrait of an Artist as a Young Man and all, but My Sister's Keeper is awesome. It's such a quick and easy read, and is very engrossing.
So just read it. What else are you doing?

Agreed on the Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man...and on My Sister's Keeper. It's a great book, very thought-provoking.

i didnt get mine yet!

ozym, where are you from? I am from europe, and I still didn't get mine...I am beginning to suspect that my mailman is up to something...

I guess international mail takes longer

i haven't gotten mine either and i'm only in ct.

aw damn it made me cry.

agreed. i kind of guy-cried (really sad and inconsolible, but no tears).

i hate this stupid book but love it at the same time.

this book was okay but what a sell out ending, and some characters were so flat and one dimentional.

the book reminds me of As I Lay Dying by Faulkner. the way the chapters are told from different viewpoints. in that respect, i like it.

Duke never sent us the book (California), but my son bought a copy yesterday. I managed to whip through it in a day, so I hope he can read most of it on the plane today to P-Wild. If you don't have time to read it all, be sure to jump at some point to the last chapter.
