Summer Reflection

It is hard to believe that summer is wrapping up and students are beginning to prepare to head back to campus. What an exciting season they have in front of them. Busy, busy for certain. I was thinking to myself, “how in the world will they pull it all off?” Then I took a few minutes to reflect on the summer the CCU faculty and students have had to date. Pretty impressive, and I can’t help but say . . . KUDOS to all! Here is just a smattering of what those CCUers have been up to this summer–I have no idea what I left out, but I suspect that list is as long as the list that follows. Wow, just wow!

Acting, Singing, Designing, Dancing, Choreographing, Deck Crewing, Stage Managing, and anything and everything else you can think of! Also many taking voice lessons, dance classes, aerial classes, working out, reading plays, and on top of that working non theatre related jobs.

Am not at ALL surprised by the long, impressive list of actors/costumers/technicians working this summer that came out of CCU! This school is quickly becoming the NOT so hidden gem in the South!!
