Summer Research: Local or Abroad?

Hey everyone. So I've been working with a prof at a pretty major research hospital for the last few months, and she's mentioned that she would really like for me to continue my work with her throughout the summer.

However, I was planning on applying to Clark Scholars, where I would have to start a new project. I'm wondering if there's going to be a major difference between going to Texas to do research versus staying at home and doing research, because the application is kind of huge and I would rather not spare the time if the experience is going to be pretty much the same.

I don’t think you have to start from scratch at Clark.

If you already started at home, stay there  There’s not much difference unless your current project is … lame. But I’m sure it’s not!
