I’m junior in state and I want to attend UofM. The plan is to apply for engineering but I may end up applying for LSA still not sure yet. Anyways after this year my UW GPA will be a 3.88. Is it worth it to go to summer school to get a grade replacement for B which would make my UW gpa a 3.91 or is it a waste of time?

Do something else, like work or another EC.
I agree. Do you have any activities that show your interested in engineering?
Check out this program in your area for next year https://www.acementor.org/
Keep in mind you can apply to lsa and transfer into engineering if your undecided right now. You have options but the difference between GPA /stats between the two seems to be narrowing every year.
Get a head start on your applications this summer also. Writing a good essay is essential.
Thanks for the suggestion, does the program involve computer science also?
Look it up on their site. It’s different groups working together to build a project. There might be some cad involved but that’s not the point of the group. My son worked one on one with another engineer and loved the experience and this is not the type of engineering he is going into.
