Summer School Grades

<p>Hello Everyone:</p>

<p>Has anyone submitted grades and evaluations from summer programs as part of the boarding school application? My d got really stellar evaluations at a summer boarding program and I think they would be a positive addition to her boarding school applications. She is applying to the school she attended this summer and one of the evaluations is from a regular session teacher who said he hoped she would request his dorm as a regular session student. </p>

<p>I know the schools do not want a lot of "extra" unsolicited information. Do you think the summer school evaluations are worth submitting?</p>

<p>emdee: yes, we did this last year – at the time of the apps, my daughter had attended 2 years of a 3-year summer program and we forwarded the electronic version of her evaluation to all the schools. FWIW, all of the AOs thanked me for sending it and said that it was helpful information for them. Good luck!</p>
