Alright, well I'm thinking about what I'm doing NEXT summer, and I was wondering what would seem more impressive to colleges: taking a math course and be able to be in AP Calculus my junior year instead of senior, or a summer ballet program in addition to an internship with a magazine? I mean, I'm thinking that if I take Calculus my junior year, I can explore the numerous math "electives" my senior year, but I don't want to waste a summer and not be able to do fun programs. And some colleges don't even ask for what you did the summer after freshman year. Which one is better?

I would definently choose the internship & summer ballet program. I don't think you could do that again. It's like a 1-time chance. Plus it's unique, which makes you stand out. A lot of people take AP calc their senior year, it's not a big deal. You don't have to take it junior year.
