Is it possible to exempt classes based on the APs? I've gotten a 5 on calc bc, 5 ush, 4 world, 4 english lang, and taking 7 more this year. Will that be more than enough to be able to just replace the classes with credit and be done with it?

From what I understand, if you're a Summer Freshman, you must take 8-10 hours of credit in the summer. I think the reason is because the fall classes are overloaded, so the summer freshman are there to lighten the load? (Don't quote me on that..)

But yeah, even if you do place out some of the basic courses, they have other classes to offer.

Yes. UT Austin is committed to offering you appropriate course options during your summer session. The College of Liberals Arts or Natural Sciences will contact you in early April and provide you with information about selecting and registering for courses for the summer. If you still have questions after the reviewing the information they provide, call the college to which you've been admitted, either the College of Liberal Arts at 512-471-4271 or the College of Natural Sciences at 512-471-4536.
