<p>I SIRed to UCLA and registered for a course duing summer.
I was charged at the "visiting student" rate ($339/unit) instead of "UC student" rate($271/unit). Is this accurate? For those who have registered, did you also get charged at the visiting student rate? </p>

<p>“Your Statement of Intent to Register has not yet been received. Please allow 2 working days from the time you submitted your SIR for it to be reflected on this page.”</p>
<p>Today, I checked myUCLA and saw that my SIR was received; however, my fees have not changed.</p>
<p>Is it normal to be charged visiting rate instead of UC student rate for summer classes before I transfer in this fall?</p>
