Hey!
For the yes or no questions at the end that also have huge character limits, will we be hurt if we answer with a simple “No”?
Thanks!

for everyone that’s applying, what are your stats? I have a 34 ACT 1500 PSAT 4.0 applying to astrophysics
But I won’t get in
@eclepai I just answered “no” for all of them. I hope that’s fine because the directions said only to explain “yes” answers
@eclepai I simply put “No” to those questions.
I don’t know if the prompts have changed, but the questions last year specifically said to elaborate only if you say yes.
How much did you guys write for the sixth question (broader context question)?
i wrote around 550 since i’m a sophomore haha
is anyone here applying to yspa too? is the app due tonight or tomorrow?
Good luck for 2018 SSP, everyone!
Shoot, I think my teachers screwed up and forgot to hit submit when sending my rec online (rip lol)… is it still possible for them to redo it and submit, or is it too late now? Do you think the admissions will let me if I email them and explain the situation?
Anyone heard about decisions (international students) ?
@kyang8093 I think you should at least email them since you already filled out everything, it’s worth a shot and i heard ssp is pretty nice
Do you guys know how many applied this year? Hopefully less than last year lol. Throwback to
early 2000’s when acceptance rate was over 60%
nope but at least theyre accepting 36 people in bio too this year so it should be a bit better than last yr
it seems like this forum is less active than last year, so perhaps less people applied this year. just a guess though, could be even more for all we know
haha hopefully. anyone else here a sophomore?
My son is in sophomore and he applied too.
How many international vs US students get in each year?
I have heard that they aim for about 6 out of 36 students being international at each site.
