Summer Seminar

Are acceptance to the seminar on a rolling admissions basis or announced all on the same date? Looks like the application is already open!

Also, in an older thread some folks who attended this seminar and one at either Navy or Westpoint found the Air Force academy’s Seminar less active in terms of daily activity and the physical aspects. This was from a thread several years ago. Any folks who have attended more recently have thoughts on this? My understanding is that the physical part is not as intense due to the altitude. What about the daily activities in other areas?

If you haven’t found it yet, most Service Academy discussions that used to be on this forum have moved to the following site:

Good luck!

Yes, it’s not as intense because of the altitude. Check out this thread on the Service Academy forum: [Summer Seminar Activities - United States of America Service Academy Forums](http://www.serviceacademyforums.com/showthread.php?t=29167)

My understanding is that even new cadets at the USAFA are given a few months in which to get accustomed to the altitude.

Thanks to all… for the link to the other board and to the feedback to the initial question.

The standards for the official PT tests remain the same for everyone.
It only takes a few weeks to acclimate well enough to do almost as well as at lower altitudes.
