Summer Session Class for High School Junior?

I'm going to be a senior next year and wanted to take a summer class at Berkeley to occupy my summer. Is it recommended that I take only 1 class for 3-4 units? I was interested in taking a math class but I'm not sure which would be the best fit. I'm currently in AP Calc AB, but I won't have my AP score for it until July, so how will I know which class I'll be elligible for? Would I be allowed to take the 53 mutivar class? Or should I consider an interesting class in another subject such as sociology or something? Any advice would be great. Oh, and are high school students at a disadvantage in classes with mostly college students? Thanks.

no no one will even know youre in HS unless you tell them so you wont be disadvantaged in that sense. i would take some class that fulfills a breadth since academically you will be readier rather than for a tech class like math 53 in which you have to compete with engineers/math majors. check assist.org

Don’t take math 53. You haven’t even taken BC yet.

If you want to take math and you’re in AB, you probably shouldn’t take 53 without taking 1b/BC first.

What would be a good breadth class that isn’t too arduous, yet is still interesting? Any suggestions?
