How is financial aid in terms of summer session?
I think that staying at Duke over the summer next year may not be a bad idea BUT I won't be able to do it if I have to spend ANOTHER $20,000! My family is in enough trouble financially as it is.
Can anyone help me out here? I would only go if there is a chance I could go to Duke for about $1000-$3000 per term at most.

The cost for summer courses is $2,352 for each regular or non-science lab course and $3,136 for each science course with a lab. So it won't be too expensive if you just have one or two courses to take. There're also room and food expenses obviously.

Check out the summer session website for more info:

As for financial aid, I believe Duke's policy is that every undergraduate student eligible for financial aid and who applies will be able to receive aid for 8 regular semesters (4 years) and two summer terms (1 whole summer).
