Anyone have experience with a really good summer spanish program in Spain with good supervision?
My daughter hated Concordia in French in Middle School. Last summer she did the immersion spanish at Middlebury/CA and I was extremely disappointed with the month. My son did a program in Mexico as a Junior but there was way too much alcohol.

Yes! I went on an ECI trip to Spain and it was amazing. All programs will have drinking, it is unavoidable in foreign countries with limited carding and a lower drinking age, but ECI had great classes and activities. There were some cool people, Spain was gorgeous, and my Spanish improved tremendously. Not to be a walking endorsement, but check out their website: ECI - Summer study abroad & immersion programs for high school students in France, Spain, Costa Rica, USA

I feel that I am a veteran of the "learn Spanish in Spain" or "learn French in France" programs. My children have gone, various years with various friends. To a one we found very little instruction and tidal waves of alcohol (or worse).
Sometimes it wasn't the program's fault. It just seemed that many of the kids who wound up in these programs were wealthy and viewed the experience as the "EuroTrip" party. Therefore, even though our kids were in Antibes to learn french for 6 intensive hours/day, they were with students who were too hung-over/disinterested to participate.
The only good experience we had was when our kids were too young to stay alone (11 - 13 years old); stayed with us in a rented house and attended more or less private lessons.

Try the Rassias programs -- excellent all around.
