I recently saw the IU Honors Language Program but it is for kids from Indiana. Does anyone know a similar program sponsored by a college but allows high school students? I have seen many private language party programs where the kids drink all summer so want something with a proven track record. Many of the ones I found in California do not allow kids less than 18 years.

Colombia Barcelona or Summersion

Middlebury Monterey Language Association. They run programs in the Northeast and in California.

[Concordia Language Villages - Study Abroad](http://www.concordialanguagevillages.org/newsite/Programs/Youth/study_abroad1.php)

They offer study abroad for high school or college credit. This is a highly respected organization.

I second the Concordia Language Villages suggestion. Keep watching for the 2010 dates with study abroad details.
