Does anyone know of a good company in/around Bloomington to store stuff from my dorm room inexpensively over summer break?

There are a whole lot of places that are good all over town.

The key is to pick the place that is closest to where you plan to eventually move to–and thus make that move easy.

One of the CA moms here who has a daughter ay IU mentioned a company called
“Guys and Dollies” who they used to move and store her daughter’s belongings.

The service you are wondering about is called Guys and Dollies, the preferred summer storage and shipping vendor of the Indiana University Residence Halls. They offer free pickup, free delivery, free boxes, and free tape, and have the cheapest prices in the country. After dropping off the boxes at the scheduled times (see website), you pack them, and they come back to pick it up. To sign up, go to [Guys and Dollies - Indiana University Preferred Summer Storage and Moving Service - Bloomington, Indiana](http://www.guysanddollies.com) or email customerservice@guysanddollies.com.

I LOVE the name Guys and Dollies, by the way!

Thanks! We had a blast coming up with names. One of our partners is called Dormestics, which we thought was pretty good too!

My daughter has used Guys and Dollies the last few years and they’ve been great. Very reliable, reasonable prices, easy process, etc. I’m sure Storage Squad is good too, but can personally endorse Guys and Dollies based on experience.

My s used guys and dollies and it worked out great! He needed to ship some boxes home (oos) and they got them shipped off too. I just suggested to him that he use the same service as last year. He stored some items and shipped some items. In August, the boxes were delivered to his new place.
