<p>so i missed the deadline to apply for summer UROP funding but i found one to do for credit. anyone know if this is worth it? i know i have to pay summer tuition, but is it possible to get the credit in fall for the urop i'm doing in summer? figure i'd ask here before i asked profs/course admins and got people mad at me if this was totally ridiculous. thanks guys!</p>
<p>It is possible to do a summer UROP for credit, but if you don’t actually need the credit (which you most likely don’t), I’d just do it as a volunteer and not pay summer tuition. This way, you could also pick up a summer job to help you pay for housing or something.</p>

Just see if your advisor will let you do it.</p>
