Where are you guys going for Summer Vacation? And are happy about or not?

pats on back You've learned the art of posting thread after thread just like me young one. Nice work!

yeah I guess.............are you going on summer vacation?

Nah, gov school AND/OR working....still pondering it over....I hate going on vacation to be honest...maybe somewhere out of the country with people other than my family would be nice...but going places like Florida and Bahamas with family is annoying especially since I hate warm weather.

I'm going to New York City.

Sweeetttttttt! :)

first time going?

we went there last year for Espanol, el repetorio espanol

Yup. First time. :) I'm pretty excited.

You may be as bit thrown by the hustle bustle and rudeness of some, but it's a great experience. I like the city, but I think I might like a city that's just a tad smaller a bit more.

I've been to Toronto at least ten times. It's pretty much like a little New York.

My dad's moving there, then to NYC.

NYC is amazing. I live in Long Island, right outside the city and worked there last summer. You can get anywhere in the city for 2 dollars on the MTA and there are just amazing (air conditioned) places to go like the Met, Ancient History Museum, etc. I worked in Chinatown as a teacher, and had an amazing time there. Plus, there are beaches galore around the city at places like: Manhattan Beach, Coney Island, Long Beach, Jones Beach, Robert Moses State Park. Amazing stuff.

I want to go to NYC.....instead I'll be working this summer. At least I get to visit my cousins at the same time. I also get to go to MA to see my aunt and Hawaii with my parents.....not too bad of a combo.

I'm going to Houston to live and what is so annoying about the Bahamas logisticslord

Oh? Your from Bahamas? Mainly my family is annoying BUT I also hate anywhere when it is hot and humid...and I just want the AC. I hate it here during the summer sweating and all. I love the winter, rain, snow, and all because i'm weird. I would be in love with the Bahamas if it were cold there

I'm going to China in June. Maybe New York in July, but the chances of that happening are really low. Then I'm headed off to some forest in California (I don't even know the name of the city, how sad) for a weeklong camp. It's gonna be a busy summer.

people here think its cold when it hits 65
