Hey friends! (It’s been a while) can anyone tell me their experiences with Straw Hats? I am submitting for the first time his year and furious about the process of going and hearing back and all the things. Thanks!

HI @destiny95! Don’t have any info about Strawhats for you- but so glad to “see” you here! Hope your transfer from BW to UNC has gone smoothly and you are enjoying your new program!
@destiny95 Do you have specific questions we might be able to answer? Also, if you go to Audition Update, and search for “strawhats” you can get some information that way. Heads-up though, they do not hold back on AU, so you’ll get the good, the bad, and the ugly. :))

Anyone that did the A1 NYC audition get a No? Some people have indicated they got a Yes and it seems that were notifying pretty quickly. So if you haven’t heard is it likely a No and they just haven’t notified yet? @toowonderful - ?
@waitingforlife Not sure about NYC auditions, but some waitlisted students were told they would hear by November 20.
@waitingforlife - My kid did not audition at a one, she went with her roommate for moral support. She does however no people who got a yes and a no, they were both notified the day of the audition
My D got a yes from the A1 people about 2 hours after the pre-screen audition on campus (she was the final person to audition). There were a few to got put through (4 or 5 others, and her, I think) a bunch of Nos and a couple of wait-lists. For those asking about Straw-Hats, my D booked a paid season from it, so plans on doing it again, hopefully. She had an acting only spot at NETC last year, which was a waste of time for her - so if she doesn’t get an MT audition for them, she will skip that.
@gingersnap97 -was your D the very last to audition for A1 or the last to audition at her school or location she auditioned?
@Raam1012 - Last one at her school. She was notified 2 hours later that she was given a spot.
