<p>Summer Program then Volunteer.</p>
<p>RELAXING. not doing anything school related. A am volunteering at a program to help struggling students learn to read from 8-12 in the morning for half the summer. In the second half I am volunteering as a camp conselor at a sleepaway camp.</p>
<p>mine is getting ready for next year! (gonna be QUITE TOUGH! I can already feel the heat!)</p>
<p>volunteer (100 hours), calculus 2 DE class, self study physics, 6 summer reading books, work out, chill with friends, play tennis, write essays, work for obama's campaign (if possible)</p>
<p>I'm going into ninth grade...</p>
<p>5 week summer program at a boarding school on the east coast, then dad's house for about a month, then come back and take math and french placement tests. (hopefully for geometry honors and french II) then tennis or soccer tryouts and practices.</p>
<p>I'll be doing doucheloads of research both at home and at the University of Maryland. Will have written a 20 page research paper by the end of the summer in preparation for ISEF, YES, and Siemens Westinghouse (all national science competitions.)</p>
<p>Ugh.</p>

<p>and then, volunteering/working/college apps 24/7</p>
<p>Yup, us CC kids use our summers to get into college.</p>
<p>Software internship.</p>
<p>studying abroad in tokyo, japan</p>
<p>Taking gov/econ in summer school so I have more room in my schedule next year, job, volunteering at YMCA, ASB meetings, vacation in Santa Barbara, and going to a bunch of concerts. Oh yeah and working on college apps (woot!)</p>
<p>working to pay my ~50k college tuition bill. chillin with my friends. hangin at the beach. buying stuff for COLLEGE!!! :D</p>
