<p>Hi again everyone,</p>
<p>Just trying to get to know everyone a little better and see what everyone is doing with their kids (or without) this summer, if anything. It's our last summer with S before he starts up college so we were gonna go for a nice little family cruise which I'm pretty excited about. We've never really done anything like it but we've heard a lot of good things about them.</p>
<p>So how about everyone else! </p>

<p>Well, D2 is leaving immediately after finals at her college to go on a 4 week medical service volunteer project in Kenya. From Nairobi, she’ll then flies to Seattle where she starts her summer research fellowship at the UWash SOM, then she’ll come home for maybe 3 or 4 days–or not at all-- before heading back to her college.</p>
<p>Me? I’ll be helping D1 moving into a rental house before she starts medical school in mid-July, then staying for her White Coat Ceremony. Next I’ll be heading to PA so I can help move my mom out of her house and into a senior apartment since she can no longer see to drive. </p>
<p>I’m hoping D1 and I will get some time in late June/early July to fly to Seattle to visit D2 otherwise we may never get to see her at all this summer! D1 has never been to Seattle. I may pop up to Vancouver for few days to visit friends if we do go to Seattle and leave D1 to stay with her sister and explore the city on her own.</p>
<p>My D is graduating HS on May 21, then leaves for a camp counselor job on May 30. She is done with that on Aug. 6, just in time to pack and leave for her college the week of Aug. 21. Her brother starts school on Aug. 15, so no real family time this summer.</p>
