SUNY Albany/New Paltz/Stony Brook for Business

Hi,

I was accepted to Albany, New Paltz, and Stony Brook. From my understanding, Stony has a better reputation but a weaker curriculum compared to Albany and New Paltz for business. My question is-- how true is that? Can any current students speak about their experience in the business programs of these schools? How do New Paltz and Albany compare in curriculum? If you are in the honors program, do you think that makes a large difference for your college experience?

Additionally, I have a few questions about life on campus.
*Is there a strong sense of community / school spirit?
*How vibrant is social life?
*How would you describe the learning environment/culture of your school?
*Do you feel prepared for your career? / Does the school offer a lot of opportunities for research or internship?

Thank you so much in advance!!

Albany Business is top notch and the best of the three - especially if you got into the honors college (the perks are absolutely worth it - advance registration alone is worth it’s weigh in gold for a university student but classes that don’t weedout can also be a godsend).
Each SUNY has its area of special strength such as science for Stony Brook or Fine Arts& Education for New Paltz. Albany’s is business.
