<p>Hey, So i've accepted to both schools,and i'm debating over there two. I hear Binghamton has great reputation and is consider the public "ivy"school. But i also like skidmore for its smaller class sizes and first year experience program for freshmen. I want to major in English,and also want to have a good social life. What do you recommend for me?</p>
<p>Skidmore. SUNY system is having financial issues that will likely continue for awhile. Albany is in a financial crisis mode and several of the colleges and universities have had to cut programs, reduce staff and faculty, and not sure how much deeper they will need to go. I’m not up on it, but I’m not sure that Binghamton has a president. They just had a nasty little episode concerning their basketball team and the president left shortly afterward. Saratoga Springs in an awsome area and Skidmore has many of the advantages of a LAC. Sorry to sound so down on Binghamton, because I actually do like the school and the students.</p>
