Has his classmates been arrested?
@nk1822 @jcandvoidz I’m wanting to think these schools will be the ones to pop up in my inbox April 1st…
@nk1822 yes it does! does yours?
I sent my sunys crappy essays but I worked really hard on my essays fro private
and yes my portal says eop opt out
@jcandvoidz @alreadyadoctor I checked mine this afternoon. It just disappeared. It was there yesterday. Idk what’s going on
@alreadyadoctor Ahaha same here. I am tired of checking my email and portals …
@jcandvoidz @alreadyadoctor I just received an email from Bing that due to academic record, they are reviewing my application for regular admission.
@nk1822 what were your stats if you dont mind me asking?
SAT around 1300 (super score)
GPA: 98
Bing told me the same thing. stony didn’t even consider me for EOP but thankfully i got accepted! I’m still gracious and ecstatic!!!
@HERCULES_HERCULES yeah I am surprised that Stony even considered me for EOP.
yes. He did. One of his teachers was pregnant, so she took a break for about 3 months. He got a substitute teacher. Learned nothing. Still got 4 on the AP. Im glad my son was actually “academically eligble” and did NOT choose to apply for the EOP program to “compete” with students (most of you) who have WAY LOWER credentials than he has.
He went to a school in a bad neighborhood. Many gang activites around school. Still managed to FOCUS on his education and not rant about financial issues.
Im not here to argue. You guys started acting rude. Respect your elderly.
Good luck to all of you.
The only respect I will have for my elderly are the ones who don’t boast and aren’t complete fools. Quit arguing about something you’re ignorant about, thank you and actually do something worthy of your adult life instead of sitting on this forum bringing down the youth and future of this country.
Now you’re not here to argue after i called you out on it. You’re pathetic.
Ouuuu loook at you, your son was able to relate one of the things i outlined and he’s disadvantaged. She left for pregnancy. That happens all over the country, I’m talking about not having a teacher to begin with. It has happened to me multiple timesss, probably about 5 times throughout high school for core classes.
Did you just say WAY LOWER, lol first off once you get passed an 1000 on the SAT, each question is weighted heavily. Your son probably got 5 more questions right on each section than someone who got an 1170. On top of that, not everyone’s brain works that way to adapt to a test.
I hope your son meets an EOP student that does better than him so you could understand why these schools admit EOP students.
i didn’t really study for the SAT because i had to work 3 jobs to support myself. Did your son do that? don’t speak on things you don’t know because you never know what someone has done or been through. Just stop
Lmaooooooooooo he worked 3 jobs? I’m exaggerating how bad my school is really? I didn’t even say my school was bad, i gave you actual occurrences of what happened in my school. You’re an idiot. You can’t transfer after a certain point where I’m from and your parents have to be active in the process. Jealous of a test score, I’m sorry to inform you I’m not that superficial.
