SUNY - Excellent

SUNY is a premier University, institution. Top level research in all fields, on level with good schools. My son is THRILLED to be there. Absolutely THRILLED. He is majoring in premed and theater with minors in women’s studies and Asian studies. He is heavily involved on campus - he is in the marching band, the pottery club, the debate team, the Young Democrats of America club, the Fencing Team, and is president of his Fraternity. He is also going to be an RA this year. He will be studying abroad as a junior in Toronto, Canada. He is very excited to be gifted with this INCREDIBLE international experience.

His High School Stats were as followed:
He is from the suburbs Willmengton Delaware.
4.36 GPA - unweighted
President of Gay Straight Alliance
1732 SAT
34 ACT
Volunteered at Dog Shelter twice a month
Acted in ensemble in 1 production (he sang in the background)
In Rugby Team

Overall, SUNY has been a mindblowing, incredible, once in a lifetime experience. I visit him once every 2 weeks, and he sometimes cries of Joy. He loves the great outdoors that SUNY has to offer, has made amazing friendships that will last a lifetime. You can do it too. Good luck in the SUNY application process. I wish you all the love and success in the world.

I would recommend SUNY!

Wow! You visit your son every two weeks from Delaware? I feel so neglectful. Other than family weekend the first year, I only visited my D once other than for pickup and dropoff and graduation and never visited my son.

I do agree with you that SUNY’s are great schools.

SUNY is not a school, it’s a system of colleges and universities. While I’m sure the SUNY system appreciates your endorsement, it might help to know which SUNY school your son attends.
