Hello i have been accepted into Stony Brook (College of Business )and Pace University (Lubin school of business) as a transfer student. So i want to know which one of these two Univs is good for business. I know Stony brook is good for sciences but is the business program recognized ? Money is not an issue for me. I just want to get into a top graduate school ( Maybe Ivy League. I know its hard but i wanna give it a try ) after getting my undergraduate degree. So please tell me which school is worth getting into.
Location, Money, People etc are not an issue. I know both schools are not excellent in business. But these are the two that i got accepted into. So please help me with this issue. Thanks in advance :)

68 views and still no answer ??? Guys please help me.

Stony! I have a good amount of friends that go to Stony and they love it

Take Stony Brook, Pace is not worth the extra money. IF you could not get into NYU or Columbia, you would have been better served going to Baruch (which has a better reputation in business) over your two current choices. Also please remember that for most top MBA programs you are going to need to have a couple of years of work experience under your belt.

Well i understand Stony Brook is better in Science. Is it good in business as well ? I thought Pace has better business program than Stony Brook. Pace’s Lubin school is AACSB accredited while Stony Brook’s business program is not accredited at all. So do i have to still pick Stony Brook over Pace ? Thanks in advance.

Business undergrad doesn’t mean too much. Make sure you get a high GPA and really great internships. Grad school matters more imo

both are third or fourth tier, so the difference is negligible, however pace will provide you with better access to internships throughout the school year. it’s right in the middle of nyc while stony brook is an hour+ into long island.

Stony Brook is in the top 100 national universities in the country.

Not sure where you got this 3rd and 4th tier idea.

Stony would be my choice.

So it doesn’t matter if i choose a school (Stony Brook) where the business program is not accredited at all right ? I know Pace is overpriced and overrated but i thought its business program is AACSB accredited and much better than Stony Brook ( I may be wrong ). And also can you please explain why you guys think Stony Brook and Pace are third and fourth tier universities ?

Stony brooks price is cheapest but campus is depressing (my friends attend) I’m debating between pace and stony as well but for Pre med. for buisness go to pace or Baruch. If money’s tight stony brook is fine too but pace is known for buisness unfortunately for me.
