Superbowl predictions

manning is terrible. He has the best team with the best o line and best recievers and can't get it done.

and the refs also tried there best to hand the colts this game. That no INT call. pathetic.

It is hard to get many people to agree that Manning is terrible.......he is treated as a God in the midwest. What he isn't is a team player.....and it showed today in a big way. The whining is going to be heard for weeks and weeks. I am loving every minute of this.

Seahawks v Panthers (Seahawks, 24-21, OT)
Steelers v Broncos (Broncos, 21-10)

Seahawks v Broncos (Seahawks, 19-14)

Seahawks claim LX title unless they get more injuries

SEAHAWKS!!! haha the hope that they might go to the Superbowl is the only thing that is making Seattle weather tolerable right now.. I would move I swear.

Um I think the Seahawks will win?

i would like to see the panthers get another shot at the superbowl....steve smith ridiculously good...and i think the broncos will be there

steelers v panthers in superbowl

steelers win 24-21

no way...broncs can take the steelers

Here we go Steelers here we go!!! :D

I want Steelers vs. Panthers. A no. 5 seed vs. a no. 6 seed. Has this ever happened before?

One of the announcers today said this was the first time in history a #6 seed got this far, especially ousting the #1 spot. You have to realize though that most of the games the Steelers lost were without their star quarterback, and now that Rothlisberger (know I mangled that) is back in the game it's probably not quite as accurate a rank.

Go Texans... ah maybe next year or the year after or the year after or the year after or the year after or the year after or the year after or the year after or the year after.

I want Steelers vs. Panthers.

"manning is terrible. He has the best team with the best o line and best recievers and can't get it done."

When Pittsburgh blitzed Manning, he literally had about a second to throw the ball. NO quarterback would've been able to handle that pressure. Considering that he threw for 290 yards and NO picks (nevermind the disputed call) against all that pressure and a great pass defense in Pittsburgh, I really don't know how you can trash him.

Unless you're talking about Eli. Eli just sucks.

man was that game crazy or what? when manning was sacked, i thought, ok, this game is over, steelers have it at the 4 yard line. then the, the bus fumbles!!when they got to the 40 yard line, i thought ok, vandergaht (sp?) will take this one, yet he misses it by a mile!!! crazy game!

"NO quaterback would've been able to handle that pressure"

well ya no qb can handle 9 guys rushing. But if you have 3/4 your team rushing, a bunch of guys will be wide open. Manning couldn't see them.

Broncos opportunistic, experienced, and fast Defense will prove to be too much for Pitt.

SB=Denver vs. Seattle

"Manning couldn't see them."

He had NO time...it's one thing to have two seconds to throw, a totally different thing to have one second (or less)...receivers don't have time to beat the corners or safeties, and the QB has no time to even analyze the coverage scheme. Seriously, what are you smoking? I don't even like Manning, but there is no doubt that he is the best QB in the league in terms of field vision, football intelligence and arm strength/accuracy. If he "couldn't see them," then I'd like to know which active QB would've. This is ridiculous; read the sports columns tomorrow and NOBODY will be trashing Manning. They'll be applauding the Pittsburgh D.

But they blitzed all game long and sacked him 5 times. You don't keep trying to find long routes when you are under pressure like that. You throw short routes once you snap to offset the blitz. You rush with one of the best RB's who was getting good yards. You don't keep trying to pass and hoping that your line holds up when it hasn't all game. How can you say that's a great QB? James was amazing on that 90 yard drive. But after that, Manning barely gave him the ball.

And steelers usually only blitzed with about 6 or 7, not 9.

Sometimes they didn't blitz, they just sent 4 guys. The Steelers fron t four were great and Troy Polamalu is great. He should've had that interception.
