Superficial Question?

Okay, at the risk of getting slammed as shallow or superficial (PLEASE believe me -- I'm NOT!), I have a question to ask: would you say the student body as a whole at NU is attractive? I certainly don't judge people based upon physical appearances; I'm just curious that's all. For those who are willing to answer, are the guys and girls more or less on the same level?

haha. I don’t think its very superficial; its a very important factor! When I went and visited, I wasn’t disappointed with the girls that I saw. I can’t speak much for the guys however.

The guys complain the girls aren’t attractive enough, and the girls complain the guys are all jerks or not attractive. In reality, its a normal distribution, but people are bundled up so often you can’t really tell much of the time.

The girls are generally and unquestionably more attractive than the guys.

^Pics or it didn’t happen Vitamin. Are you even a student here?

It’s perfectly fine to ask this question I think. I would echo what arbiter said about the student body falling on a normal distribution pattern, but I would say in terms of fitness, we’re better than the general population. That’s probably true of other top schools as well that have a significant number of students who are perfectionists and/or are coming from upper-middle class/upper class areas where fitness is highly valued.
