Okayy so MIT has gotten all my stuff for EA. But I realized I never got to a 'Why MIT' essay. Over the past year, I have gotten really close to the school because of a community service project I'm doing. Lots of MIT students are in it, and I want to explain the personal connection I feel I have formed with the school.

I know I should have done it for my Optional essay, but I just wasn't thinking then. Do you think I should submit a photoshopped folder kind of thing with the essay on it and possibly a few relevant pictures?

I didn't submit any Optional Supplement form thing but I don't know..I would really like to do something like this. What do you think? :)

If you would like to do it, go for it!
There’s no reason to wait until being deferred before sending information you think will strengthen your application.

^I’m not sure but I don’t think they’re accepting nonrequired materials right now; they’re still sorting through mail from the November 1 deadline.

^^ Yeah, seriously, since when was it allowed to continue to add application materials after the deadline? If you’re deferred, you can send an update letter, but you’ve already submitted your EA app - no sending more information unless it’s legitimately new, like you won a Nobel or something.
