So the University of Rochester superscores the ACT. My highest ACT was a 34, with the lowest subscore of a 33 in English. On another test date (composite 31), I scored a 35 in English, which would make my superscore a 35 (all of my other high subscores were from the 34 date, English is literally the only section that would change, inlcuding writing). Rochester has an average ACT of 30 and a middle 50% of 28-32. So even with a 34, I'm still in the top 25% for this school... Do you guys think it's worth it for me to spend $11 just for one subscore to raise my superscore by one point at a school that has an average 4 points below my highest single-sitting score?

It depends on how important that $11 dollars is to you.

Honestly. There is no different. Spend $11 on a hope and a prayer, or save $11.
