Superscore vs. One sitting??

Hi!! I'm kind of new here, so I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this... Is there any way to find out which schools look at the SAT superscore and which schools look at scores in one sitting? Is there a list somewhere? Thanks!!

almost all schools superscore except for a few, like U of California schools, Northwestern, and U of Michigan

Do all California schools only take one test? I was thinking of Stanford so I want to know what I need.

what is superscore exactly?

Take all of your highest subscores from different sittings and add them up.

really, do the ivies do that?

Not sure about ivies, but most schools do.

I know that Yale superscores...

Does anyone know if adcoms see the amount of sittings for that superscore then? I'm fairly certain most Ivies do superscore, just curious if its the secretaries/clerks that do that so adcoms only see the superscore, or if adcoms superscore themselves and thus see all the tests.

bump
thanks for the responses/questions so far... I'm glad to hear that most schools superscore. Does anyone have an answer to echelon's question?

So Duke and Columbia superscore?

Where did you hear that Northwestern doesn't superscore? I heard that they do...but then again, I could be wrong.

bump bump bump

An admissions officer from Northwestern said that they don't superscore in an info session.
