Which schools allow you to superscore your ACT?

Stanford does. Harvard and Yale do, too, I believe (but am unsure about).

bump.........

optimization...you sure about that?

Oh, wait. No. I'm not sure. Haha. Sorry, I didn't read your question carefully. I assumed you meant SAT, not ACT.

I have no idea which schools superscore the ACT. Of the ones I previously listed, though, this is what their websites say:

Stanford: "If you take the ACT, we require that you also take the accompanying ACT Writing Test. For either test (SAT OR ACT), we will look at the best scores submitted."

Harvard: "If a student takes the required tests more than once, which results does Harvard consider? We consider a student's best test scores, but it is generally our experience that taking tests more than twice offers diminishing returns."

Yale: "For the ACT, the admissions committee will consider the highest composite score."

Thing is, though, doesn't the ACT send only the highest score? (You can pay to have your SAT scores hidden, but doesn't ACT just get the highest overall score and send only that?)

Safe Bet: Most schools don't superscore the ACT. They look at the highest composite.
