<p>Most supplement essay goes along the line "why (insert university name) and tell us how you will pursue your interest/academics in (insert university name)" </p>
<p>I have not yet decided what exactly I want to study in college. I know for a fact I want to study International Relations (East Asia Studies). But I'm still in process of debating whether to pair IR with business or computer related major. </p>
<p>Since I'm still undecided about business and computer is it ok to avoid mentioning about it in the essay and just focus on writing about my interest in IR?</p>
<p>I have a hard time answers these things too. They want you to be very defined, captured and hold attention, confident, organized, concise and know what you want…grammatically and fitted into their format.</p>

<p>You are not under any obligation to define multiple areas of interest, just because you think they might arise down the line. Keep it concise and simple. Make it easy for your reader to process your thoughts.</p>
