This comes from the college supplement. I have two essays in mind. The problem is I'm not sure if they would stand out. On the one hand I have an essay that is about my grandmother and how many struggles she overcame in life, and how that has affected me. On the other hand, I have one about playing the guitar and music's influence on my life. One seems like more of an inspirational story, the other an intriguing topic ? I'm sure they get a number of "grandmother" essays, but also a number of music essays most-likely. Any idea which might be better to go with ?
