On the application where there is a category called supplement, it tells you that you can write another essay and another explanation that can not be seen on your transcript and activity sheet. I already writen my personal statement on the main page and an essay that the officers can not see on my transcript ect., should I write another essay or does it mean the same essay?

there is an optional essay you can do-but keep in mind it doesn't have to be an essay. I heard it doesn't hurt you if you don't write a great optional essay, and can only help you. So i'd say take the shot.

Last year I wrote a haiku and I got in, I assume they liked it. Try to be creative with it.

I wrote the essay, an optional essay, and included a picture collage showing some major events in my life within the past few years. I was afraid sending the collage would be over-kill, but it didn't seem to hurt me in the end (I'm a transfer student).

I didn't bother with the optional essay on the supplement. Got in anyway. Guess someone was greatful for an easy read late on a Friday afternoon when they wanted to go home.
