Hey I'm using the common application to apply to a lot of my schools, especially University of Miami. Before I can read the supplement essay questions, it is making me answer all of these questions and submit my answers. Is the information I give binding because the site says I can't change it once submitted? FOr example, it asks whether I want to apply regular decision or early action. If i pick one, do I have to apply by that date or can I change my mind. It also asks me about majors and stuff. So basically I am asking: Can I change the information it asks me for after I submit it? Because I just want to know the essay questions, but it won't let me see them unless I fill out the questions.

I know that you can hit the “Next” or “Previous” buttons if you want to move to adjacent sections, but on the left side, there is also a vertical list of topics to choose from. If you click on “Supplements” and then select the school you want, you should be able to see the supplement when you hit “Start”.

To answer your other question, nothing is binding until you actually click the “Submit” button. You can change your application as many times as you’d like before you submit it, but after submitting, there are some steps involved in editing and resending it.
