Common App Question! Asap!

<p>hey guys i got a question bout the common app</p>

<p>im applyin to 16 schools, so the prompts of my supplements are pretty different. </p>

<p>i plan to use differnt common app essays for different schools.. </p>

<p>is this possible?? </p>

<p>like i read the instructions and it says that u can either submit all ur common app schools at once or u can submit it one at a time.. </p>

<p>then it says that once u press submit, u cannot change any of ur Common App information... </p>

<p>is it talking about if u press submit for EACH school or just if u EVER press submit.. </p>

<p>once you submit your common app to even one school, the information is locked and cannot be changed for future submissions to other schools. This is a change that common app made this year. No one is happy about it.</p>

<p>hmm really. can you apply to the schools at different times though? (i.e. can you add on your supplements to some schools later than other schools) can you change your list of schools?</p>

<p>Is ALL of the app locked or just the main part? If the supplements are locked as well, how will people who have EA/ED'd to one school submit their application supplements for their RD schools?</p>

<p>im stuck now, like for nova i need a special common app essay beacuse im using my regular commoon app essay as the supplement cuz it works perfectly. </p>

<p>the main app is locked, but not the supplements. You must send in the supplements after the main app, so they definitely couldn't be locked anyway.</p>

<p>still it sucks how u cant change ur main common app essay... </p>

<p>think a way to get around it is the schools that u need to change ur main essay,, u can print out the common app paper forms and send those to ur colleges instead of the online app????</p>
