Are we supposed to elaborate on our choices in the short supplemental questions section? I feel like topics such as "Your favorite source of inspiration" or "Your favorite keepsake or memento" would demand a slightly more verbose answer than just two or three words.

Dude, you might actually be right… Did we need to elaborate on those?

I have no clue. I typed random words and pasted them into the “favorite source of inspiration” field and the limit seems to be at 59, which is strange. I feel like we don’t need to elaborate on our answers, but it feels weird just typing “my parents”, for example, without having to go into detail why.

I elaborated on one response that would not make any sense without an explanation. The rest of my answers made perfect sense, so I didn’t bother writing anything else. Honestly, I don’t think that it really matters. Whatever you guys wrote is probably fine.

I wrote a one word answer and it worked out fine.

I put explanations, because otherwise I don’t see how they could be helpful. It can’t hurt at least.

I had a short explanation to my favorite keepsake because it tied in with my supplement essay…otherwise I just let them guess. ; )

A Princeton rep told me that those questions warrant quick responses that just help them get to know you a little better. I didn’t explain any of mine, just kept it short and sweet.

can anyone who just received an early action result from Princeton please provide some feedback?
