My daughter is in the process of filling out her common app and on her "dashboard" it says "not required" under supplements. All the other colleges she is applying to list what the supplemental essay(s) is(are). I know there has always been 2 additional essays as recently as last year, has this changed or is she missing something?

Our first essay question is dynamic, which means the question the applicant answers depends on their answer to a school question.

The separate “writing supplement” tab was introduced last year and many complained that it was confusing when essay questions were dynamic. So, the Common App gave schools the choice of putting ALL questions on one tab or having two. Most schools opted to go back to the simpler option of having just one tab. That chart IS misleading, but if the student actually looks at the applications, they will see the questions they need to complete.
