Supplemental Letter of Recomendation from professor or grad student in the lab?

Hello!

I am a rising senior and I have been working in a neuroscience lab for the past 2 years and I wanted to obtain a supplemental recommendation for college admissions from someone in the lab. I have closely worked with a grad student these past 2 years, however, the professor (the one who is in charge of the lab) has also seen me work, and we actually worked together on one part of the project. But overall I worked more with the grad student.

Should I ask the graduate student for a letter of recommendation or should I ask the professor?

Thank you in advance!!
