Supplemental Letters of Recommendation

Over the past summer, I participated in a research internship for high school students at Fox Chase Cancer Center, near where I live. My mentor agreed to write a letter of recommendation for me, but now I am not sure how to submit it to the colleges I am applying to! MIT has a cover sheet for supplemental materials that can be faxed to them, but all the other Common App schools no not seem to have a similar system.

How should I go about sending this in? I feel that it will be an important addition to my application, so I really want all of the schools to see it.

Here are the Common App schools I am applying to:
Cornell, Johns Hopkins, Stanford, Harvard, Drexel, Wash U in St. Louis, U Penn

Thank you!!!

You could send the supplemental rec as you would any other, and then you or the recommender could specify that: ‘This is a supplemental rec for ferrariman610’ through email or through the letter itself.

i am in the same boat as you. only MIT specifies and no other specifies how to send supplemental recs

wait u would submit it through commonapp?

if you look on colleges’ individual websites “try a search for ____ university supplemental/additional recommendation” they will usually tell you if/how to submit extra letters. i found this info this way for johns hopkins and upenn. stanford has relevant information in their application guide.
