does anyone know if you're allowed to send supplemental materials (slides of artwork)? if so, where do you send them?

you are but i dunno where you can send them. i remember it being somewhere on the site. exercise caution though. also, i've spoken to a lot of admissions deans about this stuff. i've never spoken to one who said it made a real difference.

well said; unless it's really good, or pertains to your field AND is really good, there's not much of a point.

I'm not majoring in art, but it's been a big part of life since.. ever, a lot of my extracurriculars involve art or creative work. it was good enough to get a 5 in AP Art.. is it still worth it? b/c slide duplicates are expensive... :

Send the Cornell University Supplement, Cornell-specific essays, recommendations, and all other material to:
Undergraduate Admissions, Application Processing Center, East Hill Plaza, 349 Pine Tree Road, Ithaca, NY 14850-2899

if it got you a 5 in ap art it sounds good and relevant. why not?

What do you think about sending film if I plan to major in film studies and have a decently impressive portfolio?

what does the AP art examination consist of?

omg i know exactly how you feel. Except i want to send in a CD recording as supplemental material... Yes go ahead and send it in
If anything, the college will see that we're well-rounded :)

the ap art exam isn't a traditional "exam." you prepare everything ahead of time (your portfolio) and basically just spend 4 hours labeling slides and filling out forms and stuff. no studying. :)

send anything u think will advance or inhance your application
