I know many schools allow/encourage sending in extra information such as creative writing, photography, art samples, music recordings, etc. Does Emory also allow this? I can't find it anywhere on the site.

This question has been asked many times, and in conversing with Emory's Office of Admission, I tend to think that most supplemental materials, unless they represent a truly integral part of your application, will not be given much weight. Worse, if you submit materials that are indicative of a relatively lesser quality of work by comparison to other applicants, you may possibly put yourself at a disadvantage. Only you can judge this for yourself, but understand that supplemental materials are best when they add to the wholeness of an application. If you feel that your application is incomplete without the supplemental material, then submit it. If you are merely layering on to your application, then don't do it.
