Is it a bad idea to submit a supplemental rec to Emory (a total of three teacher recs)?

Some school say they hate them...others say it can be a good idea.

What's Emory's opinion?

I can't really say what Emory's opinion is, but I believe most colleges only want two unless three will show another perspective about yourself. Most recs essentially all say the same thing (hardworking, participatory, etc), but if this third teacher can say something different (affiliation w/ a club, etc) I would say send it. It really can't do u any harm if u think the teacher can say something the other two teachers didn't say.

anyway, Emory doesn't require any teacher recommendations in the first place, so my guess would be that extra recommendations would probably not be especially helpful to them.
