<p>First make sure that the school doesn't explicitly say not to send more. Always follow their instructions.</p>
<p>If there is no prohibition, you can send more. Just put on there that they are supplemental.</p>
<p>I wouldn't go overboard, though, and would only send in one or two more IF they would add something to the application. If the additional recommenders would just repeat what the first one would say, albeit about a different course, I wouldn't see the point. It might just aggravate the adcomms then. Of course, if you were interested in a double major, recommendations from two different fields might not be viewed as duplicative.</p>
<p>My answer would be somewhat different if you are homeschooled. Then colleges seem to appreciate getting more outside opinions.</p>
