along with the app, did you guys/gals submit resumes? how long were they/what kind of format? if anyone has a sample they wouldn't mind sharing, that would be awesome.

I did. It just briefly went over the activities that I participate in. I sent it along with some supplement stuff.

I sent in a resume attached to my app. it's fine, just make sure you organize it with bullets in such a way that it's really easy to read and neat. i think admissions officers get sick of reading clumped words or disorganized lists. i also sorted them into categories...first i had "academics" then "extracurricular activities: in school", "extracurricular activities outside of school", "honors/awards", "events/competitions", "summer/college coures", "interests/hobbies" and "other"

i did too, PM me with ur email and i'll send it to you if you want

Did any of you send in other supplemental material?

I'm thinking of sending in some of my abstracts. How many should I send in? I have 3 really good ones.

I did. Mine was a 327-page reasearch published by the National Academy of Sciences, and I sent in only 4 pages. Bear in mind that AdComs ARE tired.;)

WOW. 327. that's awesome.

When I sent in my application, I actually did not do anything beyond what they asked in the application, so no resumes, artwork, music, abstracts, etc.

Do you think by any chance the adcoms were relieved they didn't have read anything extra? ;)

I didn't send in a resume because the space in the application was big enough to put down everything that was important.
