<p>I notice that some schools on common app do not require an additional essay beside the common app one. however they do ask us to write something supplemental like"what makes you apply to XXX" or questions like that.</p>

<p>i am just wondering do college admission officers look at those non-essay supplement heavily?</p>

<p>Those short questions are just like essays. Some schools have many questions.</p>
