Supply Chain Management: Alternative to Finance/Accounting?

I'm a senior in high school and I've already been accepted to the University where I will most likely be attending for business (IU Bloomington).
I've been pretty dead set on a Finance/Accounting double major, with the idea that if my slim chance at investment banking doesn't pan out, I could always go into the safe field of accounting.

Just recently, I discovered the Supply Chain Management major and it seems too good to be true...
I used the National Association of Colleges and Employers Salary Calculator
(Salary Calculator)
and I found the SCM majors to have a much higher (almost 20k) starting salary than Finance and Accounting.

So...what's the downside of SCM?? Can I be as successful in this career as Accounting or Finance? I'm hoping for some insight into this field.

Why not an MBA with a concentration in SCM? My institution offers this, and the degree program is very broad at the beginning, but then becomes narrow with your concentration.
