Supply Chain Management vs Industrial Engineering?

Seems like they focus on very similar aspects of running business operations...but which is better?

Does anyone have any info on why one would be better than the other?

If you’re asking on this forum, everyone is going to say Industrial Engineering.

I’ve always been told that Industrial Engineering is Supply Chain Management and Business Administration on steroids.

OK, well don’t quote me on this because I’m only a second year in college and therefore I don’t know a ton about this field, but basically, everyone on here will tell you to go for industrial engineering, but I’ve heard of some people say that SCM might be better because it’s more management-oriented vs technical.

But in any case, I’d probably say that pick either, but take a lot of quant classes (i.e. math, maybe some sciences) if you pick SCM to be more marketable.
